Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

These terms and conditions are standard for all services provided by Gathr Company, unless specifically altered in writing and agreed upon by both parties before the event.

2. Payment Schedule

All bookings with Gathr Company require a non-refundable 50% retainer, which must be paid at least one week before the scheduled event. This retainer secures the date and covers styling, coordination, inventory rentals, and picnic services. The remaining balance must be paid at least 72 hours before the event. For bookings made within 7 days of the event, full payment is required immediately upon securing the date . Payments can be made by credit card.

3. Cancellations

In case of adverse weather, clients may reschedule their picnic within a 3-month period.

4. Bookings

A booking will not be confirmed without the 50% retainer payment.

5. Equipment

All picnic equipment provided by Gathr Company must be returned in its original condition. Any loss or damage will incur charges. Stains on linen and equipment may require dry cleaning or professional cleaning, which will be charged accordingly.

6. Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule due to other circumstances, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required, and rescheduling must be approved by Gathr Company. Availability is not guaranteed.

7. Travel

A travel fee applies for locations outside of our preferred areas.

8. Menu Changes

Gathr Company menus are subject to change based on seasonal availability. We reserve the right to replace menu items with equally gourmet alternatives.

9. Picnic Protocol

- **Punctuality:** Please arrive on time for your picnic. Our picnics are time-sensitive, and we cannot extend the time if it hasn't been pre-arranged. We offer a 10-minute grace period.
- **Setup Access:** Please do not approach the picnic setup before your scheduled time. Our team needs every moment to perfect the setup.
- **Equipment Care:** Do not sit, stand on, or move our picnic tables and equipment. Treat all items with care. You are responsible for any damage or stains and may incur a cleaning or breakage fee starting at $50, depending on severity.
- **Candles:** Our candles are for display only and should not be lit.
- **Supervision:** Do not leave the picnic table unattended for extended periods.
- **Floral Arrangements:** Floral arrangements are not included for take-home. You may upgrade to keep them for an additional fee.
- **Weather Conditions:** In case of rain, strong winds, high tides, or other hazards, we may suggest relocating for safety. If umbrellas do not stay upright in strong winds, lay them flat on the ground.
- **Unlisted Locations:** If you request a location not listed, it may incur an additional travel fee based on mileage and accessibility, and must be pre-approved by our team.
- **Alcohol and Substances:** Gathr Company is not responsible for any alcohol or other substances you provide. We are not liable for any consequences.
- **Liability:** Clients agree to indemnify and hold Gathr Company and its affiliates harmless for any injury, property damage, liability, or claims related to the services provided.

10. Permitting

We offer assistance with permitting through our custom event planning services.

12. Content Creation

We may share images from your event on our social media and advertising channels.

3. Full Payment

The total payment is due before the day of the event.

14. Rescheduling Fee

There is a 25% rescheduling fee of the event cost. Reschedules are subject to availability, and a new date must be chosen within 24 hours of the request. Rescheduled events must occur within one year of the original date. Rescheduling does not alter the terms of the original contract beyond the date of service.

15. Refunds

We do not provide refunds.
